- Not an isolated instance--a foible of postscript printer drivers. If you tell
- them to send what looks like a text file, they'll chew on it and make sure the
- printer treats it as a text file. If you want the printer driver to leave it
- alone, you have to bypass it and send it straight out the port. On IBM's this
- is achieved by treating the file as a binary one. On Amiga this is achieved by
- sending the file to PAR:/SER: (depending on where your printer's hooked up)
- instead of to PRT:. I have no idea about the other platforms out there.
