  18. Not an isolated instance--a foible of postscript printer drivers. If you tell
  19. them to send what looks like a text file, they'll chew on it and make sure the
  20. printer treats it as a text file. If you want the printer driver to leave it
  21. alone, you have to bypass it and send it straight out the port. On IBM's this
  22. is achieved by treating the file as a binary one. On Amiga this is achieved by
  23. sending the file to PAR:/SER: (depending on where your printer's hooked up)
  24. instead of to PRT:. I have no idea about the other platforms out there.
